HOLBEACH United, Spalding United and Deeping Rangers all registered impressive wins in the UCL Premier Division on Tuesday night.

The Tigers made it seven wins out of seven with a 3-1 success at Peterborough Northern Star, while the Tulips crushed Blackstones 5-1 at home and Deeping grabbed a last-minute winner to see off Boston Town 2-1.

Adam Jackson’s 25-yard stunner (30) got Holbeach on their way at Chestnut Avenue, before Tommy Treacher (58) and Andrew Tidswell (75) sealed the points.

Andy’s Furnell late consolation couldn’t prevent the John Chand’s side from extending their flawless start and they stay two points behind leaders St Ives with two games in hand.

It was much more routine for Spalding, who were in ruthless form against lowly Blackstones.

They led 2-0 at the interval thanks to a Dan Cotton rocket (14) and Franny Green’s tap in (40), while Tom James was on red-hot form.

Green doubled his money when he turned in Miles Chamberlain’s header on the line (50), before James coolly converted a deserved goal three minutes later.

Steve Burns (56) pulled one back with a stunner from distance, but Green completed his hat-trick with a header soon after to round off a slick passing move.

It’s now five wins in a row for Pat Rayment’s charges, who remain fourth.

The tightest game of the night was at Tattershall Road, as Matt Heron secured a last-gasp win for Rangers.

Harry Deane’s cracking first-half goal put Tuncay Korkmaz’s men ahead, but Ollie Pinner levelled four minutes from time.

There was still time for Heron to snatch all three points for Deeping in injury time as they made it back-to-back away UCL Premier Division wins to stay fifth.
