Pat Rayment says Spalding United have no fears over Saturday’s trip to Coalville Town.

The Leicestershire side are second in the Evo-Stik League First Division South and unbeaten at home while the Tulips’ only away win so far this term came in the Emirates FA Cup at lower-level Radford.

Spalding head to Coalville for the second qualifying round tie without Mitch Griffiths (ban) and Charley Sanders (cup-tied).

Tulips boss Rayment said: “It’s all down to us so I’m not bothered about the opposition.

“Coalville are a good team but this fixture doesn’t hold any fears for us.

“Going forward we are looking better and hopefully this is the start of a massive improvement.

“We know what we are capable of doing so all the players are disappointed when they perform well and drop four points like they have done in the last two games.

“We are getting there and we know there is more to come.”
