Dunn swoops for Luke

MANAGERLESS Pinchbeck United have lost another player to UCL Premier Division side Boston Town.

Luke Wilson has become the first summer signing of former player/boss Ian Dunn and ex-skipper Matt Hocking, who moved to Tattershall Road earlier this month.

The 19-year-old right back, who can also play in midfield, was one of Pinchbeck’s top players as they won the Peterborough and District League double last season.

Dunn, who was also United’s top scorer last year, is convinced Wilson can make the step up to the UCL.

He said: “Luke was one of the best players last season. He’ll definitely be able to do it at this level. We’re happy to make him our first proper signing.”

Keeper Lee Drury has also left the Knight Street club to join Spalding, while Keith Gray has called time on his spell with the club – meaning the new boss will be without at least five of last season’s successful side.
