BOXING DAY FOOTBALL: Tigers v Tulips provisionally ON, Deeping and Bourne matches go ahead

Today’s Boxing Day derby clash between Holbeach United and Spalding United is provisionally ON – but any more rain before kick off may cause a change of plan.

A wet Carter’s Park passed its 11am pitch inspection, but Tigers’ official Adam Kirk has said that the referee may wish to look at the surface closer to the 3pm start.

Follow @LFPSport on Twitter for more updates on the ‘South Holland clasico’.

Meanwhile, Deeping Rangers’ home date with Blackstones (3pm) also beat the weather after the Outgang Road pitch passed an inspection earlier in the morning.

Also going ahead is Bourne Town v Harrowby United in UCL Division One (1pm), with the Abbey Lawn surface deemed playable.

See www.spaldingtoday.co.uk later on today for all the results, with more in Thursday’s Spalding Guardian.
