Spalding RFC made it back-to-back home wins as they thrashed Loughborough 49-12 at the Memorial Field on Saturday.

Hot off the heels of a 22-0 triumph over Melton Mowbray last weekend, Town enjoyed another bonus-point success to move within six points of Midlands Two East (N) leaders Belgrave, who were without a game.

Meanwhile, Deepings slipped to a 27-7 defeat at Brackley in Midlands Three East (S) as they stay rock bottom of the table.

But Bourne did enjoy their first victory of the Midlands Four East (S) season after seeing off hosts Corby 30-18. The triumph ends a run of 13 successive league losses.
