Spalding look to build on last week’s return to winning ways when they host former champions Bracebridge Heath in the Lincs Premier League on Saturday (1.30pm).

South African big-hitter Warren Nel has been in superb form recently, with a total of 171 runs in his last two innings, and, along with fellow opener Thivanka Rajaratne, he can play a big part in Spalding’s bid for back-to-back victories.

Spalding proved they can be a match for anyone on their day when grabbing a last-gasp win at Louth where Ben Smith hit a four on the penultimate ball to seal victory.

Josh Newton hit a superb 84 not out and will be looking to build on that on Saturday.

If results go their way, Spalding could leapfrog reigning champions Sleaford and move into the top six.

Leaders Bourne host Lindum and will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to the league campaign.

Bourne have won three and drawn the other five of their matches so far but their fielding has been suspect recently.

Carl Wilson has been in excellent form for Bourne this year and will be looking to continue his impressive recent form.
