Rivals Bourne and Market Deeping both enjoyed comfortable Lincs ECB Premier League wins on Saturday, but Spalding were edged out by Woodhall Spa.

Deeping are just ten points off the top in third, having eased past Hartsholme by eight wickets. They knocked over their opponents for just 90, before closing on 93-2 in reply.

An unbeaten 66 from Conrad Louth helped Bourne to a six-wicket success against Grimsby. Darren Cousins took 5-36 as Grimsby were all out for 32, with Louth’s handsome knock anchoring the reply.

Spalding couldn’t make it a hat-trick of local wins, though. Warren Nel made 84 as they amassed 172 batting first, but visitors Spa edged home by three wickets.
