Trophies were dished out as members of Pinchbeck Cricket Club enjoyed their annual dinner and awards evening on Saturday night.
Despite a tough season in South Lincs and Border League Division One – which saw the club finish in the bottom three – the lads were still able to recognise some excellent contributions from their 2013 campaign.
Andrew Beeston was rewarded for his fine bowling efforts as he collected both the bowling and senior player awards, while other winners included Sam Smith (batting) and skipper James Langford (players’ player of the year).
The club are now preparing to enter their fourth season in the South Lincs and Border League – and with the league continuing to thrive and provide a large number of matches, Pinchbeck are very keen to boost their numbers over the close season.
The club will continue to seek any aspiring local cricketers to come and join them for the 2014 cricket campaign, with pre-season nets expected to commence in February.
Anyone with an interest in cricket is urged to get in contact and join the club.
