Players past and present turned out for Pinchbeck Cricket Club’s annual dinner and awards night at Spalding’s Indus Restaurant.
They reflected on an excellent 2014 season which saw them finish in a respectable fourth position in the bottom tier of the South Lincs and Border League as well as boasting some of the division’s best performers.
Sam Smith, James Langford and Danny Jackson had each collected league awards so it was no surprise to see them feature among the club’s trophy winners.
Langford and Smith took home trophies for bowling and batting while Smith also picked up the players’ player of the year.
Jackson was deservedly recognised for making the highest ever score by a Pinchbeck player during the season – 158 not out against Spalding 3rd.
