Baston got their Division One campaign off to a good start with a win over Skegness 2nd, as did demoted Moulton Harrox who chased down Welby Cavaliers’ 176-9 to win by five wickets.

Simon Juckes hit 52 not out for Spalding 2nd in their five-wicket win over Grantham 3rd who finished 161-4.

But only 15 overs were possible before rain washed out the game between Billingborough 2nd and Timberland.

A tight game at Spalding 3rd saw Boston 3rd bowled out for just 69 and go on to win by seven runs.

In the League Cup, Dan Oldfield hit 50 for Long Sutton 2nd who proved too strong for Grantham 4th.
