The first team, electing to bat against Brigstock, mustered 170 from just short of their full allocation of overs, with notable contributions from Paul Edgeller (47) and Barry Stanway (62), who bludgeoned his team to a competitive total despite the opposition’s strong bowling unit. Rain then intervened and no further play was possible.
