Four members of Three Counties Running Club, along with a bunch of supporters, took part in the Run Norwich 10k.
The race, organised by Norwich City FC Community Sports Foundation, took in some of iconic landmarks through the city streets.
The main reason for competing was Esme Whitelam, who ran the event to raise money for Sarcoma UK cancer charity in memory of a family friend.
Not a natural runner, often suffering with shin splints and breathing problems and never running more than 5K, this was a monumental challenge for her.
Having raised £350 for her charity, she completed the race in 1:33:09 in the heat and on the hills of Norwich, alongside fellow club members Karen Smith, Wendy Paynter and dad Steve.
