HOLBEACH UNITED 4
MOULTON HARROX 1
BRACES from Adam Jackson and Matt Warfield guided Holbeach United to a 4-1 win over Moulton Harrox at Carter's Park on Wednesday night.

The win was the third in succession for the Tigers, ahead of Saturday's clash with fierce rivals Spalding United in the Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian Shield.

But plucky Moulton Harrox, who fielded former Holbeach defender Nick Keeble in their line-up, put on a decent showing.

Holbeach captain Dean Elston said: "Credit to Moulton, they started brightly and caused us a few problems.

"Our fitness eventually shone through though and I thought we put on a pretty good show."

Frontman Leroy Medina made his Holbeach debut in the second half, but Stacey Cartwright limped off after picking up a knock.

But Elston expects the left-sided player to be fit for the Spalding game.
