Holbeach United continue their pre-season schedule with a home clash against Moulton Harrox tomorrow (7.45pm) and a trip to Spalding United on Saturday (3pm).
The Tigers, who saw off Coningsby 2-1 last Wednesday, hope to have Leroy Medina in their squad.

The striker, who previously enjoyed a spell with Horncastle, was expected to sign forms with Holbeach after training last night.

Frontman Ian Dunn i
s unavailable tomorrow and should be the only absentee.

Tigers skipper Dean Elston said: "We'll be sending out our strongest possible line-up and have 16 to choose from.

"With the Spalding game just a few days away, we want to be in good shape.

"We looked good against Coningsby and the squad is coming together nicely."

  • The Tigers host St Ives Town on the opening day of the Eagle Bitter UCL Premier Division season.

The big kick-off is on August 9, with Bourne Town hosting Long Buckby and Deeping Rangers making the trip to promoted Rothwell Corinthians.

The first derby sees the Tigers and Wakes clash four days later at Carter's Park, with Deeping at Yaxley the previous night.

Holbeach captain Dean Elston said: "St Ives will be a tough test, they are always very strong.

"They are a settled side and are always physical – we'll need to be ready for them.

"The Bourne game will be interesting, a few of our players trained with them over the summer."
