Simon Lambert stretched his long unbeaten run as Boston "Staffsmart" Barracudas had another huge home victory last weekend.
The 63-29 result against Buxton was the third consecutive home Conference League fixture in which they have topped 60 points.

Lambert, of Gosberton Risegate, has now had 27 unbeaten races in a row at the Norfolk Arena for Boston and King's Lynn.

He said: "I have a perfect set-up for Lynn at the moment.

"I am really enjoying my racing and everything is coming together well.

"The Boston side is flying at the moment and I am really proud to be captain of the side.

"We are looking to reach the play-offs and will take one step at a time."

Boston travel to Buxton on Sunday for the return Conference League match while their next outing at the Norfolk Arena is on Friday week (7pm) when they entertain Plymouth in the League.

Boston team manager Dale Allitt said: "We are looking very strong at the moment and it's good to see the riders getting on so well in the pits.

"The team spirit is fantastic."

Boston 63: Simon Lambert 15 (5); Darren Rolph 7+3 (4); James Cockle 9 (4); Darren Mallett 2 (4); Joe Haines 13+2 (5); Adam Lowe 11+2 (5); Oliver Rayson 6+1 (3).

Buxton 29: John Branney 11 (5), Paul Burnett 1 (5), Ben Taylor 7 (5), Lewis Dallaway 5+1 (6), Jack Roberts (R/R), Scott Whittington 2+1 (4), Gareth Isherwood 3+1 (5).

  • Darren Mallett secured a very creditable third place in the Bronze Helmet meeting at Weymouth last Saturday.
