JUNIOR FOOTBALL: New club aims to cater for needs of every child

A new club has been formed to cater for the needs of the wider community of Boston and its surrounding areas.
The aim of Boston United Community Football Club is to bring together children of all ages and abilities to play and enjoy football.

The club believes that everyone should have the opportunity to play regardless of age, ability or sex.

The FA q
ualified and CRB checked team of coaches are holding recruitment days next month at Boston Grammar School: Monday, August 4 – children only; Tuesday, August 5 – parent and child day; Wednesday, August 6 – mini matches.

There will be a nominal £5 player fee for each recruitment day.

  • Boston United's Football In The Community summer camps will be based on two big events this summer – Euro 2008 and the Olympics.

    There will be competitions and tournaments in range of sports including football, basketball, hockey, kwik cricket and athletics.

    A fun-packed three days coaching will be taken by qualified staff.

    Everyone gets to learn new skills, develop an understanding in many sports and receives a medal.

    The outdoor course for boys and girls aged four to 14 years is from August 12-14 at Gleed Boys' School, Spalding (10am-3pm).

    Cost is £30 for three days

  • Boston United's Football In The Community are looking to run a trip to Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United in August.

    It will include a stadium and museum tour plus a visit to the megastore.

    As soon as a date has been confirmed it will be released on www.bostonutd fitc.co.uk. Cost will be £25.
