GYMNASTICS: Top score for county's first event at Spalding

THE first county competition held at Spalding Gymnastics Academy in Cradge Bank was a great success.
Senior head coach Alec Harding said: "It was a fantastic day for the gymnasts and for the club in its new home."

  • Level 4: In age group 9/10 yrs Amy Loveridge finished third overall to win the bronze medal.

    In the 11/12yrs age group Emma Coddington won the gold medal, with Francesca Harper second.

    Kayesha Coley just missed out on eighth.

    Emma also got the silver on beam in the individual apparatus, while Francesca won the silver on bars and floor.

    In the 13+yrs age overall group, Georgia Harper was fourth with Lois Moyses and Clara Willis equal sixth.

    Bethany Morris won the bronze medal for vault and Clara the silver.

  • Level 3: Kelsey Porter won the silver overall with Loren Wadsworth fourth and Emma Ringrose fifth.

    In the Individual, Loren won gold on vault and silver on bars, Emma won the silver on vault and Kelsey won the bronze on vault, gold on bars, silver on beam and bronze on floor.

  • Level 2: Laura Martin won the gold overall with Jessie Wadsworth taking silver. Sarah Fletcher was fourth and Lauren Everett fifth.

    Laura won gold on beam and silver on bars in the individual.

    Jessie took the silver on beam and floor, Sarah won the silver on vault and bronze on bars, Lauren won the bronze on vault and Anna took the gold on vault and also bronze on beam.
