DEEPING Rangers thrashed Spalding United 5-1 on Tuesday night, while John Chand tasted victory for the first time as Holbeach United manager.
Mitch Griffiths hit a treble for rampant Rangers, with Scott Musgrove (pen) and Jason Turner also on target. Andrew Tidswell had given Spalding a 19th minute lead at Outgang Road.

The Tigers proved too strong for King's Lynn Town Reserves at Carter's Park.

Goals from new boys Jake Mason and Csnor Lazslo were enough to see off the Linnet's second string.

Meanwhile, Pinchbeck United humbled Bourne Town 3-0 at the Abbey Lawn.

Tom Roberts, Jamie Cartlidge and Lee Marshall all struck as United took another pre-season scalp.

See Thursday's Spalding Guardian for more on all three games.
