ANCHOR added the Knockout Cup to their league title success on a well attended night with a high standard of play.

They beat Fisherman's Arms A 7-0, although the outcome was closer than the result suggests with several close games.

Meanwhile, Paul Quincey (Pinchbeck Social Club A) became singles champion.

In a high-scoring final against Ship's Andy Marriott, Quincey won 3-1.

Lincoln Arms got the night off to a winning start, beating Queen B 5-2 to take the H&H Trophy.

Tina Roper and Andy Bray were Queen's only winners.

Lincoln Arms' Neil Amess scored a 180.

In the Captains' Cup final Fisherman Arms A skipper Ogy Lane beat Anchor's captain Mick Hewitt in a close match.

Duke of York's Pearl Fletcher was the ladies' singles champion, beating Ship's Judy Chamberlain in straight legs.

Queen A won a deciding leg to take the Fours final against Anchor 3-2.

And it was a Queen duo who won the Mixed Pairs trophy. Bryan Holland fired a 180 as he and Tina Roper saw off Pinchbeck Social Club A's Andy Beeken and Josie Ward.

Holland was back in the pairs final – and had further success.

With Ray Booth they won 2-0 against Sam Roberts and Steve Rawding (Pinchbeck Social Club B).

In the semi-finals earlier in the evening, Holland and Booth had beaten Ship's Andy Marriott and Richard Peel 2-0, while Roberts and Rawding needed a third leg to edge by Queen A's Carl Appleyard and Chris Wing.
