Five junior members of Spalding Cycling Club took most of the top medals at the second round of the youth races at Yarborough closed road circuit at Lincoln.
In the time trial events, Matt Ellis and Oliver Fensom came home first in their age gorup, with Jake Norton second, Alex Avery fourth and Harry Bellars eight.
The road race again saw Matt and Oliver taking first spots and Jake and Alex second in t
heir respective age groups.
Harry rode a good race, staying with the lead group until a puncture lost him time, despite a quick wheel change. With a strong headwind, he was unable to get back to the main group, finishing in eighth position.
A few days later Oliver rode a ten-mile trial near Alford in 28.55, giving him second place in his age group.
Michael Barnsdale (Spalding Triathlon Club) won Spalding CC's 17-mile round one in 41.41mins and Adam Ellis took the second in 40.03.
