WIND MAST: So bemused by his report

I read, with bemused astonishment, the letter about the planning committee meeting to discuss the application for a wind measurement mast in West Pinchbeck.

As a ward member for Pinchbeck and Surfleet I attended the meeting and spoke as an objector on the issue, but I am not a member of the committee and therefore am not allowed to vote.

I suggest that Mr Grant checks his facts and should actually apologise publicly to these councillors.

His inaccurate suggestion that they had abstained due to a bribe from the turbine company is thoroughly scurrilous and possibly libellous.

In addition Mr Grant should also take note that all those on the planning committee are there in their capacity as district councillors, not parish councillors.
