I WRITE in dismay after reading the front page story in Spalding Guardian, July 12, to learn that the Davis family are once again moaning about planned wind turbines, 1.5km away from their new home. Paid for I expect from their last fiasco settlement.
Surely these people, if not wanting to live near these lovely, peaceful, structures, should move to an area not a stone’s throw from their last abode but into town where there they could find many more things to complain about – such as traffic noise, pubs and clubs and schoolchildren playing.
Give it a rest and be happy you’re alive, fit and well.
Harsh, maybe, but alas true!
