In last week’s Guardian it was reported that the Boys’ and Girls’ Gleed Schools had re-opened as one unit and there was some assurance that the toilets were not going to be unisex. Fine.
However, the report indicated that each cubicle contained a wash basin, a mirror and a Dyson Airblade hand drier.
I know these are hugely expensive. If there are only two cubicles for the whole school, fair enough, but I imagine there are a great deal more than two which would suggest there has been lavish overspending here.
