These cyclists must have a death wish

Have your say

I could not believe what I was seeing. I was in my garden one fine evening last week and saw nine out of ten cyclists go past riding on the path – bear in mind at this time it was daylight and the traffic was almost non-existent.

Two of the cyclists were also wearing high-visibility vests. Over an hour later and I was still in the garden and by now it was dark.

Lo and behold, what did I see but more cyclists. Five in just a matter of a few minutes, but now they are all cycling on the road, and this is the part I don’t understand – the road is busier, it’s dark and the cyclists are all wearing dark clothing and cycling with no lights.

Do they have a death wish? I can only assume they do.
