Thanks for your support for the desperate

Have your say

THERE’S on old saying that “charity begins at home”.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local people when collecting for Agape Care Food Bank.

We were only asking for small amounts but people brought much more then we anticipated, and continue to do so.

It is with an attitude of gratitude we say thank you for your support to those in desperate need in our community.

In the bible Jesus speaks of two of the commandments: 1) you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with your entire mind; and 2) love your neighbour as yourself”. Think about it! We all want others to be kind to us, to be peaceable, to be patient, to be good to us, to forgive us when we get things wrong.

Let’s keep this in mind in our dealings with others. What a difference it would make to our world. God gave all He had in sending His Son Jesus to die on the cross for you and me so that our lives could be changed by believing in Him.
