Not policing as I knew it

IN reply to the story in Lincolnshire Free Press, April 24, “Police: Please only judge us on crime we’re aware of.”

Has he forgotten the oath and the three Ps – prevention, protection and prosecution.

None of these can be achieved sitting in the station on your bum, waiting for crime to come a-knocking at your door.

I can only surmise this way the perpetrator will be well gone on arrival, so getting back to station to write up another problem solved.

Not policing as I knew it.
