Regarding the story ‘Sick man goes on anti-Government hunger strike’, this man had obviously been ill for some time before entering this country, so why on earth was he allowed to come here knowing he would probably need medical treatment at some time, and then expect to claim benefits? Quite right that he was turned down.
I thought there was a policy that if they could not support themselves then they should be put on a plane and sent back to where they came from.
If I went to their country would I be able to claim benefits? I don’t suppose I would. Once again poor old England, we are such a soft touch. Why don’t we have a sign up at the airports and docks saying ‘Come to England and get all the help you need’?
