I am writing in reply to the article in the Spalding Guardian about the drinking in Spalding being the biggest problem.
As I live quite close to the town centre I see first hand the effects of the drinking and anti-social behaviour.
There is a problem and it seems to have got worse over the years. Wherever you walk there is litter which mainly consists of empty cans and takeaway containers.
Has anyone got any respect left for our market town?
Something certainly needs to be done. One of the worst things I find are the people drinking around in groups – it is very intimidating.
If Michael Moran (developer) can help then let him. Let’s give him a chance and get these developments on the move.
