If they move cemetery benches to path, youths will congregate

I object to the council’s decision regarding the moving of memorial benches in Holbeach cemetery.

After my brother died in 2009, my family went through the proper channels and received permission for a bench to be placed near his grave.

My mother, who is 86 years old, wanted a memorial to her youngest son as well as somewhere she could rest after the trek to his grave, which is in one of the far corners of the cemetery.

I suggest instead of moving all of the benches and going back on their original agreement, they just move the ones which they say have not had permission.

However, if they go ahead with this decision of lining them up down the main pathway, then I suppose it will give the youths of Holbeach somewhere else to congregate.
