HOSPITAL: Care was so impressive

Have your say

After several personal bad experiences with Pilgrim Hospital in the past, and years of horror stories in the press, I was very apprehensive on being admitted last Sunday following a minor trip at home leading to a broken hip.

I was admitted to ward 3b and, from the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the excellent standard of care from every single member of staff, both support and medical.

Everyone was courteous, professional, caring and attentive, making a difficult and unexpected hospital stay less painful than expected.

Buzzers were promptly and cheerfully responded to – even at the most awkward times and by the most awkward patients.

Routine care was performed to the highest standards with both discretion and care.

I would like to say a public thank you to all involved in my care on ward 3b.
