I have a couple of points I would like to bring to the attention of the highways department.
The first is at the newly updated junction on Pinchbeck Road/West Elloe Avenue.
When the traffic light is green letting traffic go from West Elloe onto Pinchbeck Road, why is there no filter light letting traffic waiting to turn left from Pinchbeck into West Elloe?
Surely with the congestion we have on today’s roads keeping traffic moving where possible is a priority?
And the second point is the recently resurfaced Woolram Wygate leading to Wygate Park as it seems to have been a waste of taxpayers’ money as it is breaking up again.
Sounds familiar as many refurbished roads don’t seem to last nowadays. I suspect cost cutting on inferior products probably has something to do with it, but no doubt the highways depatment will blame it on the increase of vehicles on the roads today. Catch 22 I guess.
