GAY MARRIAGE: It’s time to recognise the voice of the people

According to top Tory local man, Gary Porter: “Tories are worried by Gay marriage.”

It was often said that the Church of England is the Tory party at prayer. Be that as it may.

However, it is worth noting that both institutions have a long history of consistently acting in violation of their own ideals.

Surely, if both recruit, employ and promote gay people of both sexes within, and if both support the institution of marriage as a worthwhile commitment that may improve personal life and benefit society ,then what is their problem?

As for the phenomenon of “swivel eyed loonality”. Worryingly; this may be on the increase everywhere today.

May I suggest that both the Tories and Church of England stop digging on this issue and recognise the voice of the people.
