FOOTBALL FIELD: Council spent £35,000 for football club

How many times are we going to hear the same old story from Coun Roger Gambba Jones on how much opening up the field is going to cost the tax payer?

Maybe he should explain to the tax payers how the council injected £35,000 into the field and only the private concern gets the benefit.

The football clubs who are the dominating factor get the benefit.

The large part of the inhabitants of Spalding are refused entry onto the field because the gates are always locked which restricts the use of the field to the very people that is was intended for.

But no he has to attack the opposition leader for standing up for the rights of the community of Spalding.
