Don’t destroy natural habitat

ENVIRONMENT: I really hope the council doesn’t cut these down

Recently the national press highlighted the fact that local councils are rather over zealous with their mowers and choppers.

Wild flowers in the verges are destroyed causing loss of natural habitat and essential food for birds and insects.

I took this photo along Pinchbeck Road because the flowers look so lovely.

I really hope the council doesn’t come along and chop them all off!

Councils have little money at the moment so I see this unnecessary work as one way they could save money and enhance our environment.

Hope you like the picture, sadly by the time you read this, they may be gone!
