Dismissive attitude not a good advertisement for the church

RE: the Rev Morrison’s overgrown hedge. May I point out to the gentleman that the sycamore tree is not “protected” as it is not a species native to Britain. Does he know the roots of these trees spread as long as the height?

Furthermore, his dismissive attitude to the problems caused is hardly Christian nor a good advertisement for the church he presumably purports to serve. Yet another example of “couldn’t care less” shown to the elderly.

Clearly this elderly neighbour is suffering some distress from what is supposed to be a hedge; hardly a description for something 15 feet high, in a residential area. Trees, in their proper place, are beautiful.
