I refer to the Spalding Guardian front page article with photo: “Swoop on pavement cyclists.”
While as a cyclist I say the police are obviously right and just to take the action they took, what about cars or other motor vehicles parked illegally on, or half-on, pavements?
Your photo on the front page looks like Park Road. If the camera was reversed, in Park Road regularly 10 to 15 vehicles are parked on the pavement there. Nothing apparently is being done.
Now, partially sighted pedestrians, like my late wife, are in constant danger.
Is something going to be done about this scourge?
