CARNIVAL: The village does it again!

Pinchbeck does it again! Another fantastic carnival.

Each year the committee pulls together with ideas and proposals to improve upon the previous year’s event.

Our main aim is to bring people together and put smiles on their faces.

Looking at the tremendous crowd that attended this year’s carnival I’m pretty confident we succeeded.

The parade this year was one of the best with over 15 entries and the new route proved to be a success.

Members of the South Holland Rotary and Spalding Lions have to be commended for supplying marshals, who along with two attractive PCSOs on cycles kept hold ups to a minimum as the parade made its way through the village.

The entertainment both in the arena and the marquee was to the highest standard as were the displays and competition entries.

Tulip Radio, as always, did us proud, not only giving a really professional run down throughout the day but also providing all that is necessary to create a wonderfully entertaining Has Pinchbeck Got Talent? in the evening.

I would like to personally thank all members of the committee who have worked extremely hard throughout the year, selflessly giving up their own time ensuring that once again Pinchbeck can boast what many people say is one of best carnivals in the country. As this year’s theme was Numbers I can honestly state that everyone gave 101 per cent.
