A picture of the partial solar eclipse, taken from Moulton Chapel this morning (Tuesday) at 8.30am.
Martin Anderson, secretary of South Lincs Astronomical and Geophysical Society, said: “For once, the skies were relatively clear, at least for 30 minutes to allow me to get loads of shots.”
Martin used a red Baader Solar filter to take the image.
• Fellow reader Marilyn McMahon, of Dowsdale Bank, Shepeau Stow, said: “I took this one through the kitchen window which showed the eclipse mirrored in the glass as you couldn’t see it by looking directly at the sun.”
Other images in the slideshow (click the link on the right) were taken by Mike Chapman in his Surfleet back garden and Deeping St Nicholas farmer and grower Nicholas Watts.
