Youngsters across the district brought joy to parents, grandparents, friends and the wider community at a selection of performances in the run up to Christmas.

And others were able to enjoy being the ones entertained as parties were held to mark the end of the school term.

At William Stukeley Primary School in Holbeach, pupils in Key Stage One held a themed party where they all dressed in onesies for a Christmas celebration.

At Gedney Drove End Primary School the youngsters entertained guests at the school with their version of the Nativity in their Christmas production.

Tara Steel and Reece Street took the main roles as Mary and Joseph, while other pupils were wise men, shepherds, angels and even a star.

University Academy Holbeach choir and orchestra also brought some comfort and joy to assembled family and guests at All Saints Church, Holbeach, when they performed some classic Christmas favourites.

And the shoe was on the other foot at Sutton St James Primary School where the pupils were the ones being entertained. They rounded off the school year with a visit from Mark’s Magic Kingdom.
