WHILE the Deeping Young at Heart Club members will only ever tell you they they’re 21 again, last week the club celebrated its fourth birthday.

A Luncheon was held at the Coronation Hall in Market Deeping to mark the occasion.

Forty members of the club, open to those over the age of 55, attended the meal.

Entertainment was provided by guitar duo Simon Smith and Derek Thomas who played a set of easy listening acoustic jazz.

The club get together every other Tuesday at the Coronation Hall, Halfleet, Market Deeping, between 2.00pm and 4.15pm.

Their next meeting will be held on September 4.

The club usually enjoy quizzes, listening to guest speakers, cash bingo, playing cards, raffles and jumble sales.

It’s also a great place for making new friends and socialising.

The club are always looking for new members.

As the name suggests, the only requirement is that you are young at heart.
