On a cold and damp January day intrepid Year Ten Creative Media students at the Thomas Cowley High School braved the elements to make short films for their video module.

The group took a day off timetable to produce their short films which were made in and around school.

Some of the students took the role of actors while others became directors, cameramen and editors. Other students in the year helped out as extras.

After filming the students edited their work on computer.

A school spokesman said: “The students worked hard to meet the deadline for the day. They had fun and created some great projects. The filming day was part of the group’s BTec course and is a quarter of their final grade.
