Wool inspired activities entertained guests at the annual Sheep Day at Unique Cottage Studios.

Visitors were able to follow the product through from its origins – on the sheep, through to using it in everyday items such as clothing and rugs – as well as artwork.

The event also included craft stalls and the chance for visitors to try arts and crafts, such as felting.

There were also demonstrations of wool dyeing and yarn spinning and taster sessions for visitors to have a go at, such as glass staining.

Ernie Butler said: “We had lots of people through the doors who all seemed to enjoy the insight into using wool as a creative medium.”
