The World Jelly Throwing Competition takes place at Whaplode Drove this Sunday.

It’s one of the key events at Whaplode Drove Village & Country Fair at the Elizabethan Centre (11am to 5pm).

Competitors should be warned that competition is notoriously fierce.

The home of the wobbliest and most fun contest of the summer has lots of other entertainment on offer though.

There’s a dog show, rare breed animals on display, bikes, trikes, scooters and miniature steam tractors, as well as Quad bike rides, archery, games, craft stalls and demonstrations.

Live music, a bar and a variety of food stalls will add to the enjoyment.

Entry to the event is free.
