It isn’t even Christmas Day yet, but already residents are complaining about rubbish piling up around Spalding.
One reader called the Spalding Guardian for help to get an area of Lansdale Court cleared.
He said: “I’m at my wits end. For seven weeks now we’ve had rubbish dumped over the wall in Lansdale Court.
“There’s old settees, the bases of two beds and other bits of furniture. It’s such as eyesore.
“People travelling to Springfields Outlet Shopping Centre will see this and it’s not a good image for the town.
“I’ve rung the council, but so far nothing has been done.”
A spokesperson for South Holland District Council said: “We are aware of fly-tipping in Lansdale Court and have arranged for our maintenance teams to clean it up as soon as possible.”
