Whaplode CofE Primary School’s digital leaders Lexie Cave, Jade Whitmore and Josh Bennett gave a presentation at the school’s launch as an Apple Regional Training Centre.

Lexie explains their role is to help students and teachers with the technology.

Jade says the iPads are used mainly for subjects like literacy, and they can also be used in free time for playing games.

Josh said: “I would say they have helped learning a lot because we can do stuff a lot more independently. When teachers put something on the board we can see it on the iPads as well and we can scan the QR codes and go online and open a document and it brings up the lesson.

“If someone wants to go ahead of you, it means you can go at your own pace.”
