A SPLASH of Bollywood glamour came to Weston Hills when primary school pupils embraced Indian culture for a day.
Sunita Patel, of the Indian Exchange, went into class three and got pupils to dress in traditional Indian clothes with bangles and bindis.
Once dressed, the pupils took part in some very energetic Indian dancing, learning four different dances.
Class three teacher Donna Upsall said: “We learnt lots about life in India and Hinduism, including the story of Rama and Sita.
“In the afternoon we tried our hand at Indian Rangoli art work, on the ground outside and in the classroom.
“It was a superb and informative day, teaching the children so much about India, which is the class topic this term.”
