Universal Credit is coming to South Holland in the autumn and if you are a charity or community group you may like to know more.
LCVS is hosting a Voluntary Sector Forum on May 26 in Spalding with a Welfare Reform Project manager as guest speaker. The speaker will be able to discuss the changes that are coming and to answer your queries.
We will also be having a presentation about the excellent services on offer at Long Sutton Market House.
A Voluntary Sector Forum is an ideal opportunity for local groups to meet and share ideas and if you would like to attend please book your place through Eventbrite or via the contact details below.
National Volunteers Week in June
National Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK – and this year it’s taking place from June 1-7.
Whether your organisation is small or large, if you involve volunteers this is your chance to say ‘Thank you’ and publicly recognise the difference that is made by them.
If you are an organisation doing something nice for your volunteers at the beginning of June, please get in touch and let us know.
