Young people in Spalding
are rocking again after the
relaunch of The Vista Crew.

An ‘Alldayer’ took place at the venue in the Vista Hall.

Performers from the
area put on entertainment throughout the day and helped raise money for charity.

Co-leader Dave Sargent said: “We are pleased to be back open and look forward to welcoming more young people aged 11 upwards.

“We were surprised with the turnout at the relaunch because of other things happening in the town, but we are hoping the word will get around and more young people will join us.”

The Vista Crew recently went independent from St Mary and St Nicolas Church after offering a drop-in at St Nicolas Church Hall for over seven years.

Organisers wanted to develop this further by offering more activities. The next meeting is on Saturday from noon to 4pm.

Dave said: “We’d like to see more young people, so drop in have a free cup of tea and crumpet, listen to or make music, play badminton, pool, table tennis, or just chill out in the coffee room.”
