Knitters are being invited along to Spalding Lifestyle in Spalding Road, Pinchbeck on Wednesday, from 9am to noon, to knit ‘live’ for BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s ‘Baubles for St Botolphs’ (Boston Stump).

Radio Lincolnshire’s Melvyn Prior will be broadcasting live from Uptown Vinyl Records within Spalding Lifestyle and knitters can go along, with their needles and a ball of wool, and be part of the live broadcast.

Melvyn will be playing Uptown’s vinyls on the deck and broadcasting records from the huge selection, instead of the usual digital production.

Gilson Lavis, drummer with Jools Holland, will be there betwen 10am and 11am, signing copies of his two new books – Drummers and Comedians.

And John Manship will be there, 10am-noon, signing copies of his new hot-off-the-press book – Rare Soul Collectors Price Guide
