TWO charities have been given a cash boost thanks to organisers of a vintage rally in Holbeach.
The annual two-day Holbeach Vintage Rally sees a proportion of the profits divided between charities of the committee’s choosing.
Two charities who were on-hand to help the public at the event this year have been rewarded for their efforts.
Holbeach and District Rotary Club have been presented with a cheque for £300, while St John Ambulance have been awarded £200.
The rally celebrated its 16th year at Barrington House Farm on June 19-20,
It included a variety of trade and craft stalls.
Visitors battled through rain and shine to enjoy 72 lorries, 70 tractors, 80 cars, 35 to 40 motorbikes, three steamrollers and three miniature steam engines.
Exhibitors came from as far afield as Scotland and Cornwall.
Committee member Les Ward said it was an enjoyable event.
Next year’s rally will take place on June 18-19.
